Privacy Policy

theCode is operated by Tomek Skupiński, the controller of personal data described here. For privacy requests, email support@thecode.xyz.

Newsletter

If you sign up, we use your email address and signup and confirmation information to send news about digital editions. The basis is your consent. Kit processes subscriptions and delivers emails for us. Its form and email service may also process technical information and email engagement data, depending on the form and account settings. See Kit's data processing terms for newsletter subscribers and privacy policy.

You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email. We keep subscription data while you're subscribed; after unsubscribing, a minimal suppression record may be kept to respect your choice and document consent. You don't need to subscribe to browse the artwork or download free themes.

Contact and previous orders

If you email us, we process your email address, message and any order details you provide to answer your request. This is based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries, or on fulfilling an earlier contract or legal obligation where applicable. We retain correspondence as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Website delivery and preferences

The website is served through Cloudflare, which processes connection data such as IP addresses and request information to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. We use a local browser preference called thecode-theme to remember your chosen colors; you can remove it by clearing this site's browser data.

Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when loading them. See Google Fonts and privacy. This site doesn't load advertising or analytics scripts. Kit's own hosted form may use its own cookies and security checks.

Providers and international processing

Our hosting, email and newsletter providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the transfer safeguards described in their privacy notices. We don't sell the newsletter list. Data from previous orders may still be held where needed for support or statutory recordkeeping; this site collects no new payment details.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect earlier lawful processing. You can contact us by email above or complain to your data protection authority, including Poland's UODO.
