Terms of Service

Current service

theCode is an artwork archive with free editor themes and a newsletter about upcoming digital editions. Printed poster orders are on hold. We don't currently accept purchases, payments or preorders. Release plans may change; joining the newsletter doesn't reserve a product.

Artwork and previews

Artwork, product photographs and site content remain protected by their respective copyrights. Browsing this site doesn't grant a license to reproduce, resell or redistribute poster artwork. Future digital editions will have their own terms, available before purchase.

Free themes

The downloadable theCode editor and terminal themes are distributed under the MIT license included in the download. That license applies to the theme software, not to poster artwork. Themes are provided as is; compatibility may vary with your editor version.

Signup is voluntary and free. We use Kit to manage the list and send launch news. You can unsubscribe through a link in each email. Our privacy policy explains how personal data is handled.

Previous orders and questions

These website terms don't replace the terms of an earlier purchase or limit your statutory rights. For an earlier order, gift card or any question about this site, contact us.
